Rowans nursery specialises in hardy perennials and usually has a large range of plants in stock including collections of oriental poppies, ornamental grasses, euphorbias and meconopsis.

We are open Sundays 10am to 4pm from April to September

Also for sale are a wide range of campanulas, Astilbies, Hostas, Iris, Hemerocalus, Miscanthus grasses, Elymus grasses, Cerexes, Deschampies and Molinas.

Associated with the nursery are lovely gardens where you can see mature specimens of our plants in an attractive setting. There are woodland borders, a gravel garden, an alpine garden, large herbaceous borders and a developing water garden

Come and see us on a Sunday, have a look around the very pretty gardens, and pick up something unusual from the plant sales area. Orders can be taken to pick up the following season for anything you spot in the garden which we don't have in stock.

Our all season offers include any three 2 or 3 litre pots for £10 including our large range of grasses. We also have small pots of perennials for £1.50 each or four for £5

The owner is a keen plants person and is more than happy to discuss your requirements to best pick plants suitable for your own garden.
